October Clinical Genomics and CSIRO announce that they have entered a new phase in their collaboration to develop improved diagnostics for cancers of the colon and rectum (bowel cancer). Press release.
June Clinical Genomics, in partnership with CSIRO and Flinders Medical Centre, presents results of discovery and preliminary validation of gene expression biomarkers with a high sensitivity and specificity for colorectal neoplasia at Digestive Disease Week 2009 (Chicago, IL USA). Press release.
April Clinical Genomics announces an agreement with Quest Diagnostics (Madison, NJ USA) to develop diagnostic and screening products for colorectal cancer based on Clinical Genomics' patented and patent-pending gene expression biomarkers. Press release.

2008

October In partnership with the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO, Australia) and researchers at Flinders Medical Centre (South Australia), Clinical Genomics files additional international patent applications protecting novel gene expression signatures for colorectal neoplasia. In particular, protection is being sought for a novel biomarker of colorectal neoplasia which is sensitive for both colorectal carcinoma and precancerous tumours.

2007

December The journal Physiological Genomics accepts for publication our original manuscript, "Map of Differential Transcript Expression in the Normal Large Intestine". This paper reports the first map of gene expression changes across a human organ.
November The Australian patent office grants our first patent protecting ten biomarkers for colorectal neoplasia.
October In collaboration with CSIRO's P-Health Flagship and researchers at Flinders University, Clinical Genomics files a provisional patent to protect an expanded set of candidate biomarkers for colorectal neoplasia.
July Australian government awards Clinical Genomics a Commercial Ready Grant of more than $1.48 million dollars to exploit our intellectual property.

2006

November Clinical Genomics enters into a Collaborative Research and Development Agreement with CSIRO's Preventative Health Flagship to research products to improve detection of early-stage colorectal neoplasia.
September Clinical Genomics is founded to expand and commercialise a proprietary set of candidate biomarkers for colorectal neoplasia purchased from Enterix Inc following that company's merger with Quest Diagnostics.
