Clinical Genomics was formed to exploit the potential for break-through improvement in colorectal cancer diagnosis using biomarkers for colorectal neoplasia discovered in a completed gene discovery program. Over the course of this project Clinical Genomics will apply its unique product development expertise in colorectal cancer screening to develop a new test based on a proprietary panel of protein targets predicted by our background research. To maximize the commercial potential of this product Clinical Genomics will steer this research program to meet the needs of the target market by partnering with others, including the largest clinical diagnostic lab company in the world. By delivering a more accurate diagnosis and screening method for early colorectal cancer detection, such a product will place Clinical Genomics at the forefront of an emerging and highly valuable market in molecular clinical diagnostics.
